Andrew Bourque

Resource Information Systems Manager

Andrew Bourque is the Resource Information Systems Manager at GreenWood Resources, Inc. Mr. Bourque has worked in the natural resource industry for over 25 years, the last 16 with forestry systems and technology. In his current role he leads the development, implementation, and management of forest management systems (FMS) for GWR. He uses his experience with geographic information systems (GIS) and technology to promote and enhance the use of computer systems in the company. Throughout his career he has always been involved with technology. He has been responsible for computer systems, data management, GIS and remote sensing analysis.

Prior to joining GWR, Mr. Bouruqe was the Resource Information Manager for Potlatch Corporation at the Boardman hybrid poplar tree farm. Earlier in his career he held several positions with Western Mining Corporation in the mineral exploration division. He started as Field Geologist became the Chief Geochemist for the US exploration office, and eventually the Systems Analyst for GIS and computer systems.

Mr. Bourque Received a B.Sc. H. degree in Geology from Acadia University in Nova Scotia, Canada.
